More gathering! Took a lot less time this time round as the frills are smaller. I loosely sewed them on to the edges of the neck corset, but unfortunately this means the elastic won't stretch..but that doesn't matter for the exhibition as it will be displayed on a mannequin, but it's a problem I could look into solving if I were to continue this project for actual saleability.
The cream frills connect the neck corset to the corset as the black and cream contrast, in the opposite way to the corset (cream fabric, black frills)
The frills on this look a slightly different colour to the corset fabric due to the concentration of the fabric and the fact that there is grey interfacing on the back of the corset satin fabric
