What do I get angry about? UKIP! - satire piece

So for my second satire piece I've decided to look at what angers me because I'm not really happy with how the first one turned out. I need something to be passionate about!! So what does anger me that other people can relate to? Politics! And more specifically...UKIP!

Nigel Farage is my target, and I've already sketched out a few layout ideas for the piece!

Satire piece

I cut out lots of women from magazines, both models and celebs.
the plan is to paint on top of them, creating really emphasized body shapes and revealing clothes.

I painted around the images with purple acrylic but it was difficult to get close enough to the figures without getting paint on them...perhaps I should've painted the background first!

I decided to paint the background blue to symbolise that women are "drowning in media's expectations". For example the media shows us women with specific features that become our "ideals", which are often very unhealthy! Such as big boobs and bum. small waist, long legs, big lips and eyes, long hair

I eventually decided that I didn't like this at all...so I painted over it! I used a spatula to create a textured effect in a bright blue acrylic. After that had dried I again used a spatula to add white and royal blue tones, giving the background more of a "sea-like" feel. My aim now is to create a fashion illustration style piece, based on the images of models I have already manipulated on photoshop.

Princess satire: Beauty and the Beast

Had an idea to create the ugly sides to fairytales, so for Cinderella you'd have the fact that she and the Prince have nothing in common, or she could be his cleaner?
Sleeping Beauty: she's been asleep for so long she's had no exercise so she's fat and the prince doesn't want to kiss her?
Beauty and the Beast-
Belle walking Beast on a lead? Being with him is not all it's cracked up to be
Maybe bringing him a razor for his hairy back?
little mermaid: ariel just sat in the bath all the time, or wanting to go swimming all the time?
rapunzel: trying to do something with her short hair that she doesn't like
frozen: Elsa's jealousy over Ana and Sven's relationship?
snow white: 7 dwarves move into palace with snow white? prince is jealous?
pocahontas: not interested in Indians anymore, wants a white man, maybe on a dating website?
Mulan: both dressed like a man...? both want to be man in relationship
Aladdin:
princess and the frog:

Artists I can use as influence for satire artwork

So this is a paint unit, obviously I have to use paint, but I can use mixed media as well, so I just remembered an artist I've looked at before... Nikki Farquharson!

Initial ideas for satire

So I'm thinking of doing something along the lines of body image, so emphasising certain features on celebrity bodies and then having captions with remarks along the lines of "is this what we class as beauty nowadays?"

Celebrities I can look at:
David Beckham - abs
Angelina Jolie - lips
Cara Delevingne - eyebrows
Paris Hilton - fakery, plastic, general body, stick insect
Zac Efron - abs, hair, eyes

Pamela Anderson - bay watch, boobs, body
Katy Perry - boobs
Meghan Trainor - larger body
Jessie J - legs, tall
Iggy Azelea - bum
Dolly Parton - boobs, hair
Taylor Lautner - abs
Katie Price - fake, boobs, body, lips
Nicki Minaj - fake, boobs, bum, curves, small waist
Beyoncé - body, hourglass
Kim Kardashian - bum, boobs
Juston Bieber - hair, body
Kylie Jenner - lips
Victoria's Secret Models - bodies, boobs, bums

Satire - these are the kinds of things I could do on photoshop

Here are some images I found on Google that are photos hopped, fairly easy and I could probably do this!
